Joseph Ficara
Bio:
Joseph has over 20 years of experience in software engineering field.
His focus over the past several years has been architecting, designing and implementing
n-Tier solutions
utilizing .NET, C#, SQL Server 2000 and 2005 both in contract and full time capacities.
Joseph has also been a Harvard University Extension School Professor for 5 years.
Prior courses include:
- CSCI-E218 Intermediate COM and COM+ Programming
- CSCI-E238 .NET System Programming.
- CSCI-E230 .NET Programming in C#
Currently Joseph is working for Iron Mountain Corporation as a Staff Engineer developing
n-tier solutions in .NET 2.0 utilizing ASP.NET, Web Services, SQL Server 2005 and
Windows Forms.
When Joseph is not in .NET land you will find him looking for hills to climb on
his road bike in the summer or skiing in the winter.

Bio:
Chief Technology Officer at American Financial Systems, Inc, a company
specialized in illustration, re-projection, and administration software designed
for supplemental benefits market. Experience of 10+ in the financial and insurance
software industry, with emphasis in product design and legacy systems support, primarily
using Microsoft products (VB, ASP, .NET technologies and MS SQL Server). Recently
completed a Master of Liberal Arts in Information Technology from Harvard Extension
School, holder of a B.S. in Computer Sciences from the Colombian School of Engineering,
and also completed studies in Electronics Engineering and Mathematics from the Pontifical
Javeriana University.

Provider since 1992
